Look no further, here at MOT in Brighton we are able to provide you with a reliable MOT test completed by a trained engineer known as a nominated tester. He or she is trained by DVOSA (Department of Vehicle Operator Service Agency) to ensure that your test is being completed correctly.

It is important for your vehicle to have an MOT test. The MOT certificate confirms that your vehicle at the time of its test met the minimum acceptable environmental and road safety standards required by law. It doesn’t mean that the vehicle is roadworthy for the life of the certificate and isn’t a substitute for regular maintenance.

The MOT certificate is now issued in three parts. Part one and part two will remain the same, however, the new part three will contain additional information and will be printed on a separate page. Items covered will include:

• Odometer Reading (Mileage Reading)

• Any Vehicle Defects (Minor, Major or Dangerous)

• European Symbol of Country

• The Legal Consequences of not having a Valid Test Certificate

We can complete our MOT service at classes 4 and 7 and can test up to 5.5 tonnes. Our class 4 MOTs are £50 and our class 7 are £55
